The Publish Dialog allows you to create a presentation of your XML file for different media (e.g. HTML, PDF, etc.) by calling an external application. See Publishing in Serna in the Developer's Guide for details.

Choose the publishing output from the drop-down list. This will change the output generation parameters in the text box below. You can also change the parameters manually.
To initiate generation, click the button. Note that the generation of the output will be performed in the directory where the file is residing. This means you must have write permissions for the directory.
When the output is generated, you can click the button to call the external viewer. You can specify the viewer for a particular file type (extension).
